Generating Referrals – for yourself

Know what you want from your referral request Make it clear to members how you feel about contacts/introductions and referrals.

Create a top 20 hit list of desired contacts/prospects.

Make a specific request each week and if relevant email it to the all members after the meeting.

Use a call to action like, ‘who do you know who is’ or I am looking for your help, help members to help you.

Use the six degrees of separation to get what you want, you all know someone that knows someone etc etc.

If you feel your not happy with the type/quantity of referrals use the open session as an opportunity to establish with the group why and what can be changed, to help you get more.
