Warren Access attended this year's ABE Northern Region exhibition on 5th June 09 at the Lancastrian Suite in Gateshead. This is the 22nd Northern exhibition and the support for this event has grown year on year, which reflects the high interest and commitment shown by colleagues who are one way or another involved in the countries major industry "Building and Building Maintenance".
Since the purchase of their Multitel MX270 in December 2008, Warren Access has found this machine to be an extremely popular addition to their fleet and the demand for it has been very high. This machine remains the only one of its kind within the North East to date and boasts a maximum working height of 27.3m and maximum outreach of 13.3m, mounted on a 7.5 tonne chassis.
Warren Access exhibited their MX270 at the exhibition and had the great pleasure of demonstrating the machine to the Mayor of Gateshead Councillor John Eagle who opened this year's exhibition and spent much of the day there meeting all of the exhibitors. Warren Access is presently looking at other Multitel models to add to their fleet in the near future. Operations Director Suzanne Cox was given the perfect opportunity to witness wealth management on a grand scale - when she won a free weekend to Monaco. Suzanne, who works for financial advisers Carterbar, of Billingham, won a weekend for two to attend the Formula 1 GP in Monaco. Suzanne, from Nunthorpe, Middlesbrough, was entered into a prize draw after asking pension provider Partnership for a quotation for a client who was suffering chronic ill-health.
Suzanne says, "Partnership deals in policies for people whose life expectancy may be shortened by illness and I approached them on behalf of a client with health conditions. I did not even know I had been entered into the prize draw and to hear I had won was a great surprise. The weekend was amazing, absolutely brilliant." Carterbar is based at Manor Way, on the Belasis Business Park, in Billingham, and its services include advice on mortgages, life assurance, income protection, pensions and investments.
